How to Watch Hornets Games in 2026-27: TV, Streaming and Radio Guide
The way you watch the Charlotte Hornets changed again this season. If you've ever asked a bartender to switch the TV over and gotten a blank stare, this one's for you. Here's the simple version.
Free local TV: WSOC Channel 9 and TV64
Most Hornets games air on WSOC Channel 9 and TV64 in the Charlotte area. That means you can watch for free with an antenna, or find them through your cable or satellite lineup.
Streaming: DAZN
The Hornets' streaming home this season is DAZN. It carries most games for fans in the Carolinas. It does not carry the national TV games (see below).
National TV games
A handful of big games move to national TV on ESPN, ABC, NBC/Peacock or Prime Video. On the road this season, those include:
- Tue Jan 19 @ Dallas: NBC
- Fri Jan 29 @ Minnesota: ESPN
- Mon Mar 8 @ Indiana: Peacock
National schedules can shift during the season, so check the Hornets' official schedule for each game's channel.
Radio: 92.7 WFNZ
Every game is on Sports Radio 92.7 WFNZ with Sam Farber on the call. You can stream it on WFNZ.com or in the Hornets app.
Pro tip: bar has the game on mute? Pop in an earbud and put the radio call on.
Watching away games with other Hornets fans
Road games are better in a room full of teal. Our Where to Watch map lists Crown Club–friendly bars across Charlotte, from Uptown and South End to Plaza Midwood, University and Matthews, that have the game on or will turn it on when you ask. It also has the full 40-game away schedule with the channel for every game.
Home games: come to a TEALgate
For home games, skip the couch. The Crown Club hosts a TEALgate at The Local in Uptown 90 minutes before every home tip. It's open to all Hornets fans, and Crown Club members eat free. See all 40 TEALgates.
Broadcast info as of October 2026. The Crown Club is an independent fan union and isn't affiliated with the Charlotte Hornets or the NBA.
