Meet the Team

Charlotte born, teal-blooded and a dad of three. Scotty grew up in the stands at original Hornets games and never got over it. Back in the Bobcats days he helped rally fans to Bring Back the Buzz, and Charlotte did the rest. Now he runs marketing at Replay Sports Cards in South End and co-hosts Shootin' The Shot, the Crown Club podcast. His wife Jax is the real MVP of the Kent household. ECU alum, so yes, he's always down to party. 🏴‍☠️

The other Kent brother (also a Charlotte native, shocking). Evan was at App State when he started a little fan page that became Bring Back the Buzz, and he's been rallying Hornets fans ever since. Ask him and he'll say all he did was make a page, and the fans did the rest. Co-host of Shootin' The Shot. That's him in the jersey with his best friend, Coach Lee. Not pictured: his wife Alyssa, the real MVP, who you've probably met at a TEALgate. Go App! ⛰️

Yeti is a born-and-bred creature from right here on the Eastside of Charlotte, NC. These days he lives in a cave somewhere between Charlotte and the gateway to Gastonia. He's repped the Bugs since the day the team got here, went to college for radio and TV broadcasting, and has been on the 1s and 2s for 20+ years. He's also been the Executive Producer of Shootin' The Shot since the beginning.
